Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use these apps?
No. None of our apps use accounts, logins, or passwords. You just download and start. Your data is tied to your device and your own iCloud, not to any account with us.
Where is my data stored, and does it sync between devices?
Your data is stored on your device and, if you have iCloud turned on for the app, syncs across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud account. We don’t run any server that receives it and we can’t see it. See each app’s privacy policy for details.
My data isn’t syncing between my iPhone and Apple Watch (or another device).
Sync relies on iCloud, so check that: you’re signed in to iCloud on each device with the same Apple ID; iCloud is enabled for the app (iOS Settings → your name → iCloud); and each device has a network connection. The first sync can take a little while. If it’s still stuck, email us.
How do I restore a subscription I already bought?
Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy it.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions, choose the app, and cancel or change it there. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
How do I get a refund?
Because Apple processes all payments, refunds go through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and request a refund for the purchase.
Can I export my data?
Bump can export your full workout history as a CSV file from Settings → Export Workout History, which you can then save or share anywhere. Where another app offers an export, you’ll find it in that app’s Settings.
How do I delete my data?
You’re in control: delete entries inside the app, delete the app from your device, and/or remove the app’s data from iCloud in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Once it’s gone from your devices and iCloud, it’s gone — we keep no copy.
Is my Apple Health data safe with Tally?
Yes. Tally only ever reads your step count and active energy, only to compute your calorie target, and only on your device. It’s never written back to Health, never sent to us, and never used for ads. You can turn access off any time in iOS Settings → Health.
